To maximize the lifespan of the protective coatings, store the components in a dry, sheltered area during extreme weather or prolonged inactivity. Applying a thin layer of light machine oil to the threaded pole joints periodically prevents binding and maintains smooth, tool-free assembly. Regularly wiping the chains and frame with a soft, damp cloth removes dirt, pollen, and outdoor debris to prevent surface wear and preserve the smooth movement of the chain tiers.
