I started playing disc golf in Fall 2020 when we got a new puppy who refused to walk on pavement. We started taking him to the local school campus to walk in the grassy fields that happened to have a small course. We saw baskets and people playing so my husband and I scooped up a starter set thinking that would be way more than enough for us to share. Boy was I wrong.
In the short time that I've been playing, disc golf has become a passion that I could have never predicted. I transitioned from competing as a Strongman athlete to playing at the Professional level of disc golf almost every weekend.
Disc golf has had such a monumental impact on my life. I have met some of the most incredible friends in this sport across the entire country. I have the opportunity to represent absolutely amazing companies in the disc golf world. I've been able to host countless tournaments and leagues as a tournament director and I look forward to many more. I'm so thankful for the sport and growing it in any way I can.
If you see me on the course (most likely laughing, looking at weird bugs, or tripping over something on the ground) be sure to come say hi!
